Recent $1 million Massachusetts State lottery win gives American dream vibes

A massive recent state lottery windfall has propelled a couple straight into the heart of the American Dream.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Peter Quill Trust of Quincy has claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Money” $10 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee David Spillane, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Spillane said the winner plans on using the winnings to purchase their first home.

The winning ticket was purchased at G and M Grocery, 504 Cambridge St. in Worcester. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Bonus Money has two $4,000,000 and five $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
