Raffles, food, fun, and entertainment on tap for Fall River fundraiser to aid Gabriel House victims; here are the details including impressive list of eateries

As is typical with Fall River residents, they have rallied together to help those impacted by the fatal Gabriel House blaze. Another fundraiser has been organized and will take place this week.

Christopher’s, Kenny Mark from Mee Sum, SASS Recovery, and Fall River Property Management are among those putting on a fundraiser for the survivors at the VFW at 486 Bedford Street. (UPDATE: The venue has been changed to St. John’s Club at 1365 Rodman Street to accommodate more people)

For a $20 dollar donation at the door there will be live music, a DJ, raffles and food.

-Whites of Westport clam chowder

-Food from Patty’s Perogies

-Liberal Club French meat pies and strawberry shortcake

-Food from Goose’s Good Eats

-Food from Mr. Chen

-Food from Stone Soup Kitchen

-Food from Fiorentina Italian Kitchen

-Food from Pickled deli

-Food from Flavorybox

-Special heart shaped cookies from Rebecca Silvia

-Food from 99 Restaurants

-Food from The Hamilton Diner

-Food from Blue Point Restaurant

100% of the proceeds will go directly to those in need, according to organizers.

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
