Purchase of Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket at gas station results in $4 million prize

A trip to a Massachusetts gas station turned out to be very lucrative as it resulted in a big State Lottery win.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Pyrrhic Funding Trust of Chelmsford has claimed a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks” $10 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Susan Atlas, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Gulf, 328 Montvale Ave. in Woburn. The store receives a $40,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks has one $4,000,000 and for $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
