Purchase of Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket at convenience store turns into $1 million win

The recent purchase of a scratch ticket at a Massachusetts mart turned out to be very lucrative.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, the Cian M. Trust of Quincy has claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Bonus Wins” $5 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Natalie Logan, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Town Mart, 10 Federal St in Belchertown. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$1,000,000 Bonus Wins has two $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
