Purchase at Massachusetts tavern results in State Lottery $4,000,000 scratch ticket win
A trip to a Massachusetts watering hole turned a recent scratch ticket player into a millionaire.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Joey’s Nominee Trust of Pittsfield has claimed a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “100X” $10 instant ticket game.
The trust, represented by trustee John Martin, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes).
The winning ticket was purchased at Bucky’s Tavern, 25 Consolati Way in Lee. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
100X has one $4,000,000 and three $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
