Premium fresh on-premise ice cream shop opening soon in Fall River
A new ice cream shop is headed to Fall River.
270 Seabury Street, a long-time convenience store that has recently been used for storage, will soon be serving ice cream.
Nonno’s Ice Cream Shoppe will be on the corner of Cherry Street and Seabury on the side of Ruggles Park.
According to owner Steve Serio, premium, fresh, on-premise ice cream will be available in 30 flavors (no soft serve). You will be able to order everything ice cream from sundaes to milkshakes to containers by the pint.
Attorney Greg Brilhante, representing 270 Seabury Trust and Serio, previously went in front of the Fall River Zoning Board of Appeals and were granted a special permit to convert the property.
The inside of the building went under a complete renovation and Serio is looking to hire at least 8 employees.
Nonno’s is expected to be open 365 days a year with hours of operation of Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday/Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The shoppe is expecting to open at the end of the month.
