Portuguese Kids issue statement concerning legal troubles and status of member Al Sardinha

The Portuguese Kids have issued a statement on social media concerning recent legal troubles involving one of their members.

“A message to our fans: Recently one of our founding members, Albert Sardinha, has run into some legal issues. We want to update our family, friends, and fans on the situation and the state of the Portuguese Kids. Although we cannot speak about the specifics of the case, we have 100% confidence in the judicial system and we are 100% confident that the truth will come out. In the meantime, Albert will be taking time off from the stage to focus on his legal issues. As you know, the Portuguese Kids are an ensemble group and we have been entertaining audiences for over 15 years. We plan to continue entertaining our fans for the foreseeable future. We ask for your continued support through this difficult time and we look forward to seeing everyone at our events. Thank you for always remaining loyal.”

Sardinha was arrested on felony charges after an incident last month.
