Portsmouth Police looking for suspect who stole thousands
Portsmouth Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a theft suspect.
On February 13th, the Portsmouth Police took a report from a resident who stated that $6,000.00 had been stolen out of a bank account utilizing a bank debt card.
The investigation has since revealed that the suspect used the Citizens Bank in the Middletown and Newport branches to retrieve the money. The suspect was observed operating an unknown white SUV at the time of the theft.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the surveillance photographs is encouraged to contact the Portsmouth Police Detective Division at 401-643-0994.
