Portsmouth Police find gun hidden at local establishment, looking for public’s help

Portsmouth Police found a gun hidden at a local business and are hoping the public can help them find out more information.

According to Detective Lieutenant Michael C. Arnold, on December 2, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. members of the Portsmouth Police Detective Division along with patrol officers responded to 568 Park Ave, CJ’s Pub. Information was received that there may be a firearm hidden on the premises. Upon arrival at the establishment a loaded 38 caliber revolver was recovered, which was hidden inside a bathroom.

Further investigation revealed that the gun had been stolen from a home in Falmouth Massachusetts several months ago.
