In a Saturday afternoon press conference, President Trump announced several executive orders aimed at providing relief due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trump states that one of the executive orders will supply unemployed Americans an additional $400 a week (down from $600). States will have to cover 25% of the cost.
Another executive order will create a deferred payroll tax holiday until the end of the year for those making under $100,000. Trump stated that if elected, he would make the holiday permanent.
A third executive order, according to President Trump, will protect tenants from evictions which would include renters and homeowners.
Trump also stated that 0% student loan rates would be extended until the end of the year along with loan payment relief.
Throughout much of the press conference, Trump blamed democrats for inaction.
It is unclear where the money will come from and how fast the relief would be distributed.
The orders are likely to face a legal challenge as Congress controls federal funding for programs.

I’m wondering and hoping that the people who did not get their first stimulus checks yet and hoping on when will they get it before the second stimulus check arrives. I have not gotten my first stimulus check yet and I’m still waiting.
