Police: Several children injured after van crashes through Massachusetts YMCA
Several children were injured after a van crashed through a Massachusetts YMCA.
According to police, Tuesday at 4:30 p.m., the Foxborough Police and Fire Departments responded to the YMCA at 67 Mechanic Street for multiple E-911 calls for a vehicle into the building.
Responding personnel found that a vehicle had struck the building and crashed into a section of the building causing injuries to individuals inside.
Four juveniles were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Foxborough Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
The Foxborough Building Commissioner also arrived on scene checking the safety and integrity of the structure.
