Police respond to morning report of dead body located near Jehovah Witness Hall

Police have released more details after a dead body was located on Tuesday morning.

According to police, earlier today, members of the Lincoln, Rhode Island Police Department responded to a report of a deceased individual located on Great Road.

The body was located in the area of the Jehovah Witness Hall.

Police say that the investigation has not uncovered any evidence of criminal activity at this time.

LPD thanked the Rhode Island State Police for their assistance with gathering evidence at the scene. and stated that this is an isolated incident, and there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the community.
