Police respond after dead body found in water at southeastern Massachusetts beach
A man was found dead at a southeastern Massachusetts beach this weekend.
According to police, at approximately 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Plymouth PD responded to 255 Water Street (Nelson Park) for a report of an unresponsive male party face down in the water.
Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male in the water who appeared to have been there for some time.
He was pronounced deceased by EMS personal.
Plymouth Police Detectives along with State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the cause and manner of death.
Police stated that at this time there is no concern to the public.
The victim’s name was not released as family/next of kin are being notified.
