Police: Massachusetts woman charged after driving into house while residents were home
A driver has been charged after authorities say she crashed into a home this week.
According to police, just after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, a female operator failed to stop at Ridgefield Road and King Street in Norfolk.
Upon arrival, officers determined after an investigation that the operator crossed over King Street and drove up a driveway, striking a porch.
There were no injuries in the crash.
A witness inside the home stated that she could see the headlights on the vehicle heading toward the home and was surprised how hard she hit the residence.
The female operator is being charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation, failure to stop and a violation of marked lanes. Here name was not released.
