Police looking for public’s assistance to locate missing 3-year-old Massachusetts boy
The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in efforts to locate 3-year-old Joshua Jones, of Roxbury.
The Department of Children and Families was recently granted custody of Joshua, but his mother, Shalimar Harris, has failed to surrender him to DCF. Both were last seen on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in the area of 41 Dimock Street.
Joshua is described as approximately 2’6″, about 50 lbs., with brown eyes, and short black hair.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is advised to contact 911 or B-2 Detectives at 617-343-4275.

The Department of Children and Families is known to have children die while in their custody. I hope this child is safer with its mother. Prayers to mother and child.
