Police looking for hit-and-run suspect after pedestrian struck walking from Dunkin’
Police are looking for a pedestrian hit-and-run suspect after a collision this past weekend.
According to police, on Saturday, just after 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Taunton Avenue and John Street in East Providence, a pedestrian was crossing from the Dunkin Donuts, walking north to the sidewalk where Visiting Angels is located.
What appears to be a dark colored Chevrolet Avalanche with unknown registration plates struck the pedestrian and left the area.
The vehicle operator appears to be a white male with a beard.
