Police looking for estranged husband after woman shot and killed in Marshfield shooting
According to Marshfield Police and the Plymouth County District Attorney, police are actively searching for a man who has fled the town after a woman has died from her injuries in a shooting.
At approximately 5:53 p.m. a call came in to Marshfield Police stating a woman was being chased by her soon to be ex-husband.
Police arrived at Route 3A in the area of ABC Equipment to discover a female with facial injuries. She was transported to South Shore Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Various law enforcement agencies set up a perimeter, but the suspect managed to escape. The shooter is believed to have run into a wooded area after crashing a vehicle.
Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz believes the person of interest, Allen Warner, 47, has fled the area of Marshfield.
Warner is possibly driving a gray 2013 Toyota Corolla with license plate 4FS-Z80.
If you see Warner, contact authorities immediately. He could be armed and dangerous.
