Police issue update after man shot inside Fall River hotel
Fall River Police are investigating after a man was shot early Saturday morning.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Officers responded to the Holiday Inn on Airport Road in response to a report of a shooting in the establishment.
Upon arrival, officers were directed to the second floor where they located a 32-year-old male in the hallway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his left side. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
During the investigation, officers learned that the victim had attended a party at the hotel. At some point an argument ensued and an unidentified male shot the victim and fled the business in an unknown direction.
