Police investigating multi-car rollover crash on Route 24
Police are investigating after several vehicles were damaged and multiple people were hurt in an afternoon crash.
The Berkley Fire/Rescue, Berkley Police, Massachusetts State Police, and Freetown Fire responded to Route 24 South between exits 15 and 16 at approximately 1:30 p.m. for a multi-vehicle accident.
One car flipped over and at least two other vehicles were damaged, including a tractor trailer.
According to Berkley Fire/Rescue, 3 patients were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident completely shutdown Route 24 near the accident scene.
