Police investigating hot dog pieces found with nails
Police are investigating an incident where nails were discovered in pieces of hot dogs.
According to Newport Police, on May 4th in the Thurston Avenue area, police responded to a report that a resident, while walking his dog, noticed pieces of hot dogs scattered on several lawns.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the hot dogs contained nails.
The Newport Police request that anyone with information contact Detective Patrick Walsh at 401-845-5775.
