Police investigating Brockton double shooting that killed one, injured one
Massachusetts State Police and Brockton Police are investigating an overnight double shooting that killed one man and injured another according to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz.
This morning at approximately 12:27 a.m., Brockton Police received multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at Madrid Square Condo complex in Brockton. Police and emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and found two male victims with gunshot wounds. One male victim was determined dead at the scene. He has been identified as 31-year-old Jamari Leblanc of Brockton.
The second male victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton with non-life threatening injures. His name is being withheld at this time.
Brockton Police and Massachusetts Police are actively investigating and the shooting does not appear to be random at this time.
