Police investigating after Fall River man reportedly shot in the face with pellets
Fall River Police are investigating after a city man was reportedly shot multiple times by pellets.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, just after 10:00 p.m. on Monday, Officer Brandon Antone responded to the 100 block of Durfee Street regarding a man who had been shot by an airsoft gun.
The victim, a 49-year-old Fall River resident reported that he was walking home from work when an unknown vehicle passed him traveling south on Durfee Street. As the vehicle approached the victim, several rounds were fired in his direction.
The victim was struck by two pellets, one in the face and one in the chest area. He ultimately refused medical attention.
The incident remains under investigation.
