Police in Massachusetts warn public of Netflix scam
Police are warning the public of yet another new scam involving Netflix.
The Edgartown Police Department posted about a Netflix subscription scam.
“Don’t be fooled by this phishing scam!”
“If you do receive a similar email please… -DO NOT open any attached links”
-“Move it to your SPAM folder’
“When in doubt you can always call customer service from a verified phone number.”
The scam states that subscribers need to restart their membership because of a failed payment and are looking for you to click on the link.
