Police in Bristol County search for owner after several dogs found alone in crates on the side of the road

Police in Bristol County are looking for the public’s help after several dogs appeared to be abandoned.

According to police, on Friday, at approximately 7:00 a.m., the Rehoboth Police Department responded to Reynolds Avenue in the area of Glenmore Lane following a report that three small dogs that had been left in a crate on the side of the road.

Rehoboth Animal Control Officers responded to the scene and took custody of the three dogs. Shortly thereafter, the Rehoboth Police Department received a second report regarding three additional dogs that had been left in a crate near 150 Reynolds Avenue. All six dogs were brought to the Rehoboth Animal Shelter.
