Two recent incidents in the City of Fall River have led to the arrest of a city man.

According to police, on Tuesday evening, a search warrant was conducted at a residence on East Main Street regarding an investigation lead by Detective Joshua Pelletier of the Major Case Division into two armed robberies that occurred in the City at Walgreens on South Main Street and Dunkin Donuts on Globe Street.

The Emergency Services Unit and Community Action and Suppression Team (CAST) assisted with the execution of the search warrant.

A replica firearm, air pistol, and ammunition were recovered along with other evidence linking the suspect to the crimes.

40-year-old Richard Archambault was taken into custody and charged in connection with these incidents.

He was charged with Armed & Masked Robbery, Possession of Ammunition without FID Card, and Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device.

Archambault pled not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday and was held without bail on dangerousness.
