Police arrest alleged armed Fall River man wanted for involvement in city shooting after foot pursuit
A Fall River man was arrested today on gun charges after being wanted in a previous city shooting.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, detectives assigned to the Vice Intelligence and Gang unit were engaged in surveillance in the city’s South End. While performing surveillance, they observed 21-year-old Steven Redondo-Morales on foot in the area of Eagle Street.
Pereira stated that detectives exited their vehicle and identified themselves to Redondo-Morales, who then fled on foot in the opposite direction. During the foot pursuit, Redondo-Morales discarded an item which was later determined to be a magazine to a firearm. Shortly thereafter he was taken into custody in a neighboring yard. After securing Redondo-Morales in handcuffs, detectives observed a firearm on the ground in the immediate area. There was no magazine in the firearm at the time it was recovered. The firearm was identified as a DPI DP51 PARA 9mm pistol. It was determined that the magazine discarded during the pursuit, contained similar markings as the firearm recovered.
Redondo-Morales was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for his role in a shooting incident which occurred in the City of Fall River on November 11, 2022, at the intersection of Locust Street and Linden Street. During that incident, four rounds were fired. No injuries were reported.
In addition to the outstanding warrant, Redondo-Morales was charged with carrying a loaded firearm in public without a license to carry and carrying a large capacity firearm or feeding device.

This nasty Hood Rat was in possession of a DP 51 PARA 9MM with large capacity magazine ??
without being properly licensed and the firearm not being properly purchased and registered???
How can this be ??
Massachusetts has a wheel-barrel full of ‘common-sense’ firearm laws and yet this particular Hood Rat … like all the other Hood Rats … are still able to obtain a gun ?? Where are depraved leftists Maura Healy and Federal Representative Jake ‘the Snake’ Auchincloss when we need them to write even more common-sense gun laws so that no more Hood Rats will possess guns illegally and stop shooting up the Community? Additional ‘common sense’ gun laws will surely stop these Hood Rats from possessing and shooting unregistered firearms on City Streets. If Maura Healy is not busy blocking another natural gas pipeline from Nova Scotia to teach us a Climate Lesson, then she/him needs to take action on common-sense gun laws right away
