Police arrest 40-year-old after 49-year-old man injured in late-night Fall River stabbing
Fall River personnel responded to a late-night stabbing.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 11:45 p.m., on Monday, Units responded to a residence on Foster Street in response to a report that an individual had sustained a stab wound during an argument.
Upon arrival, investigating officers were able to determine that a 49-year-old man had sustained a stab wound to his arm, as a result of an argument with a roommate.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The roommate, 40-year-old Wilmer Vinicio Aguirre Cuenca, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and vandalism.
