Police arrest 4 on list of charges after Fall River shooting near city park
Fall River Police have made multiple arrests after a shooting that took place this week near a city park.
According to police, on Wednesday, officers responded to the 300 block of Birch Street for a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, officers observed evidence consistent with gunshot holes in the front of the residence. A vehicle parked in front of the home had also been struck.
The intended victim was less than cooperative with investigators at the scene.
The Major Crimes Division investigation was led by Detective Clautino Monteiro, who began reviewing video surveillance and tracking the suspects’ movements to the Sunset Hill House Development, located in the south end of Fall River. Investigators later determined that the suspects were picked up by an Uber and transported away from the scene.
Thursday afternoon, members of the Major Crimes Division executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Sunset Hill in an effort to locate evidence related to the shooting. Upon entering the residence, investigators located Kamron Sneed, Ulisses Monteiro, Kamari Stuart, and Nevaeh Iadicola, along with a young child.
Sneed and Monteiro matched the unique physical characteristics of the two individuals believed to be involved in the shooting. They were also later identified by others involved in the investigation. During the search, investigators located a .22-caliber semi-automatic firearm concealed beneath the living room couch.
As a result of the findings in this investigation, all four individuals were arrested.
Acting Chief J.T. Hoar stated, “this investigation is another example of what can be accomplished when our entire Department works together. Members from multiple bureaus and divisions collaborated throughout this investigation, ultimately identifying and apprehending those responsible and recovering a firearm.

Their commitment, persistence, and attention to detail have allowed them to maintain an exceptionally high solve rate involving shootings and other acts of violence in our city.
