Police and fire respond to three-vehicle crash on Route 140 that injured two
Police and fire responded to a three-vehicle crash Thursday night where multiple people were injured on southeastern Massachusetts highway.
According to the Lakeville Fire Department, a call came in at approximately 10:30 p.m. for a reported 3 car crash on the southbound side of Route 140.
Car 1, Car 2, Ambulance 2, Ambulance 3, Engine 1, and Engine 2 responded to the scene.
Car 1 arrived first and found 2 vehicles with heavy damage approximately 400 feet apart. MA State Police arrived shortly after and provided scene safety and accident investigation.
One occupant of a vehicle was transported to Morton Hospital with injuries believed to be minor in nature. Another occupant was evaluated and refused treatment against medical advice.
The crash is under investigation.
