Police and fire respond to rollover highway crash with entrapment in Bristol County

Police and fire crews responded to a rollover highway collision with injuries on Monday morning.

According to the department, at approximately 6:26 a.m., Attleboro Fire was dispatched to Interstate 95 southbound for a reported rollover crash.

When they arrived, crews located one vehicle approximately 50 feet into a wooded area with a single occupant trapped inside. Firefighters performed extrication operations and removed the patient, who was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The North Attleborough and Norton Fire Departments assisted with operations on scene.

Crews cleared the incident at approximately 7:24 a.m.

Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.

This was one of two significant highway crashes in Bristol County Monday morning.
