Police and fire crews respond to multi-vehicle collision that left one vehicle suspended in the air on Route 138

Crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash that left one vehicle partially off the ground.

According to Portsmouth firefighters, they were dispatched at approximately 2:45 p.m. for a reported rollover late this afternoon on East Main Road (Route 138) in front of the state police barracks.

Crews arrived to find a 3-car motor vehicle accident with one vehicle suspended in the air and an additional vehicle off the roadway against a stone wall.

Crews were able to stabilize the airborne vehicle and assist the passenger to safety.

Portsmouth Police also responded to the scene.

Luckily, no injuries were reported.
