Plymouth County District Attorney identifies 23-year-old killed in motorcycle crash

WAREHAM –A man died Monday following a single occupant motorcycle crash in Wareham, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz has announced.

The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Cristian Hagopian.

At just after 6:45 p.m., Wareham Police received initial reports of a serious motorcycle crash near Charge Pond Road.

Hagopian was pronounced deceased about two hours later after being transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Through interviewing witnesses, Wareham Police and Massachusetts State Police learned Hagopian had been with a group of other people riding motorcycles together when he crashed into a wooded area near his home. Witnesses stated no other motorcycle riders were near Hagopian during the crash.

The State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was later contacted and accepted jurisdiction of this case.
