PLYMOUTH – A Kingston man has been convicted of violently raping a woman at a house party, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz has announced.

Tuesday, after a three-day trial, a jury deliberated 8 ½ hours in Plymouth Superior Court before convicting 22-year-old Jason M. Webb on two counts of Rape, and one count of Indecent Assault and Battery. Webb was found not guilty on two counts of Indecent Assault and Battery.

The Commonwealth requested that Webb’s bail be revoked, and that he be ordered to stay away and have no contact with the victim, and wear a GPS monitoring bracelet. Judge Ira Gant denied the Commonwealth’s request, and released Webb on personal recognizance, until his sentencing scheduled for November 17th.
