Picture Show at SouthCoast Marketplace in Fall River reopening next week with restrictions
Picture Show at SouthCoast Marketplace in Fall River has set a reopening date.
The movie theater has been closed since March 17th due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The location is set to open back up to customers, however, on August 28th, according to the company.
Picture Show has set some rules and guidelines to abide by during your movie-watching experience.
Team Member Health & Safety:
-Staff will undergo a wellness check prior to each shift. This includes a temperature check and symptom questionnaire. -Staff will also wear face masks, gloves and other necessary personal protection equipment (PPE).
-Staff must wash hands frequently in accordance with CDC guidelines.
-Guests can expect an increased frequency of cleaning, especially high-contact areas and surfaces.
-Social distancing is encouraged and enforced.
-Plexiglass barriers are located in transactional areas at each location.
Guest Health & Safety
-All Picture Show Locations will be enforcing a mask requirement in accordance with CDC recommendation. All guests should be wearing their masks upon entering the theater unless they are under the age of 2 years old.
-You will notice several signs posted around the theater including directional entrances and exits. Don’t forget to look down to see the social distancing markers on the floor indicating 6 feet of distance between you and other guests.
-There will be hand sanitizer stations throughout our theaters for your use. We recommend using sanitizer upon entering the theater and before using any of our self-serve options.
-Limited restroom capacity will apply. Maintain social distancing and use common courtesy when visiting the restroom facilities.
-Movie start times are staggered to help minimize the amount of people in common areas at one time.
-Any guest that is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or has been exposed to COVID-19 should stay home and visit after the quarantine period. Visit the website to process any refunds.
Low-Contact Options for Tickets and Concessions:
-Purchase tickets in advance on the Picture Show website (www.pictureshowent.com)
-Cash will not be accepted at the theatre. A designated cash exchange line will be available to customers to pay cash for gift cards to be used throughout the theatre.
-Forgot to order in advance? Stop at the concession stand to purchase your tickets or utilize one of our self-service kiosks that are disinfected throughout the day.
-Tickets can be printed at the concession stand from online orders.
-Utilize self-serve kiosks to purchase your tickets.
At The Theatre:
-If you pre-purchased tickets, head right to the ticket podium stand with your digital ticket confirmation.
-Forgot to order in advance? Stop at the concession stand to purchase your tickets.
-Tickets can be printed at the concession stand from online orders.
-Face mask required at Fall River location.
Concessions & Food:
-Visit the concession stand to order food and concessions.
-Food and beverage options may vary.
-Some self-service options will be temporarily unavailable.
-No refills will be permitted during this time.
-Plexiglas barriers are located in transactional areas at each location and open registers will be 6 feet apart.
-Guests and employees are asked to maintain physical distancing when in the concession and common areas. We will have employees monitoring traffic flow to make sure appropriate physical distance is maintained.
-Cash will not be accepted at the theater. A designated cash exchange line will be available to customers to pay cash for gift cards to be used throughout the theatre.
-Bars will be opening in accordance with state and local guidelines.
Seating & The Auditorium:
-Reserved seating allows groups to sit together. When purchasing tickets please refrain from choosing seats in groups of 4 if you do not have 4 people in your party.
-Capacity is limited at this time and there will be empty seats between groups and patrons to maintain social distance measures at all times.
-Social distancing will be enforced through designated reserved seating layout.
-A methodical cleaning and disinfecting process will take place after each movie.
Restroom Rules and Best Practices:
-Limited restroom capacity will apply.
-Please maintain social distancing and use common courtesy when visiting the restroom facilities.
After the Movies:
-Please exit auditoriums in an orderly fashion and maintain social distance between groups and other patrons.
-Avoid congregating in the lobby for any reason.
-Please dispose of all trash upon exiting the auditorium. Marked receptacles are provided at each entry and exit.
