Pawtucket Police Department looking for suspect in murder of 34-year-old woman

The Pawtucket Police Department is providing an update regarding a homicide on Sterry Street.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect, 34-year-old Oldon Louis. His vehicle was located unoccupied in Providence shortly after the incident.

According to Detective Sergeant Trevor Lefebvre, on Sunday, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Pawtucket Police Department responded to an address on Sterry Street for a reported disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers located a 34‑year‑old female who had sustained multiple stab wounds.

First responders initiated life‑saving measures, and she was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

After further investigation, the incident appears to be domestic in nature.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.
