Parents express concern after unfounded bomb threat at Fall River school
A threat at a Fall River school Wednesday morning turned out to be unfounded.
At approximately 10:00 a.m., a call came into Fall River dispatch for a bomb threat.
It was later determined to be a threat at Aldrich School on Harrison Street, according to parents.
Parents received text messages just after 11:00 a.m. from the Aldrich Center informing them that the children and staff were evacuated to Health First and that police conducted a check of the building and provided an all clear for everyone to return. Children then returned to their classrooms and were following their normal routine.
Several parents expressed concern that they were not notified immediately of the threat and received a message after children had already returned to class.
