Pair arrested with help from SWAT after man reportedly slashed by knife, held at gunpoint in Plymouth County

Authorities made multiple arrests after an alleged harrowing incident that took place on Saturday morning.

According to police, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Plymouth Police Department was notified of a male victim who reported being assaulted. 

The victim reported that he had been slashed with a knife and held at gunpoint by a male and female suspect inside an apartment located in Building 2B on Marc Drive. The victim was able to flee the apartment and reported the incident at the West Plymouth Fire Station. 

Plymouth Police responded to the apartment and attempted to make contact with the occupants. The occupants refused to cooperate and did not respond to further attempts by officers to communicate with them. 

Due to the seriousness of the allegations, Plymouth Police requested assistance from Metro-LEC SWAT. The building was evacuated as a safety precaution, and after a short period of time, officers were able to take a male and female suspect into custody without further incident. 

The identities of the suspects were not released.

The Plymouth Police Department is actively investigating this incident. Based on the ongoing investigation, additional arrests are possible.
