Owner of D’Angelo gives update on future of franchise in Fall River
We contacted the company in charge of D’Angelo to give us an update on the state of the franchise in Fall River.
Wynnchurch Capital, a private equity firm, bought PGHC Holdings, Inc whose sale of Papa Gino’s/D’Angelo was official this week. New England Authentic Eats is now the holding company for both Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo.
When we asked Wynnchurch Capital about the future of D’Angelo in Fall River, this was their response:
“Fall River has been, and will continue to be, an important community to us.”
“We closed the D’Angelo at 10 Plymouth Avenue on February 7, 2019. Employees were placed at our two other locations at 16 Canning Blvd. and 1040 N. Main Street, including both managers, all shift leaders, drivers and two team members. These two locations now also cover the previous delivery area from Plymouth Ave., so guests can still get delivery of their favorite sandwiches.”
Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo are set to be transformed according to the group.
