One transported to trauma center after Swansea rollover crash with pet inside
Local crews responded to a rollover crash in Swansea with injuries.
According to the Swansea Fire Department, this morning, Swansea Firefighters responded to a single car motor vehicle accident on Hailes Hill Road.
The vehicle had left the roadway and came to rest in an area near the power lines.
Firefighters with Rescue 1 and Engine 1 responded and stabilized the vehicle and extricated the occupant.
Swansea Animal Control assisted with the occupant’s pet which was in the vehicle at the time and was thankfully uninjured.
The driver was transported by Swansea Ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital.
