One rushed to trauma center after serious crash near Fall River, Westport line
A driver was rushed to the hospital after a serious crash this morning in Westport.
At approximately 7:45 a.m., Westport Firefighter/Paramedics responded to a motor vehicle rollover with entrapment on Route 6, near the Fall River line.
According to the Westport Fire Department, upon arrival, firefighters found a heavily damaged vehicle on its side, with one person still inside the vehicle, suffering from significant injuries.
Firefighters extricated the single occupant using the Jaws of Life and the patient was transported by both Fall River EMS and Westport Paramedics to a local trauma center in serious condition.
The area of Route 6 was shut down to traffic at the time of the crash.
