One dead in Norton overnight crash
Norton Police are reporting a fatal crash that occurred early this morning.
On Sunday, October 21 at approximately 1:15am, Norton Police and Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle crash at 96 Maple Street, Norton.
Preliminary investigation revealed the operator of the motor vehicle lost control of the vehicle, striking a tree. The male operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name is being withheld at this time. It is unclear at this time if road/weather conditions played a factor.
The crash remains under investigation by Norton Police, Massachusetts State Police and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
