Officials release name of victim killed in fatal crash on Route 195 in Swansea
Officials have released the name of the victim killed in a crash in Swansea late last week.
According to Massachusetts State Police, shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, Massachusetts State Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 195 east in Swansea.
The vehicle reportedly could be seen up against the guardrail.
An occupant of the 2008 Honda Accord, 25-year-old Enmanuel Landestoy of Brockton, was located inside the car with life threatening injuries. Troopers attempted life-saving measures until EMS arrived and transported the victim to Charlton Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The other occupant of the car, an adult female, was also transported to Charlton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Family described Enmanuel as a good-hearted, hard-working, family-friendly man with contagious joy.
The facts and circumstances of the crash are still under investigation by Troop D of the Massachusetts State Police, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the State Police Detective Unit for Bristol County.
