Officials issue good news after two-year-old Massachusetts child fell into pool and was unresponsive
Officials shared good news concerning a two-year-old child that was rushed to the hospital last week after falling into a pool.
According to the Abington Fire Department, in the early afternoon on August 15th, crews were dispatched to a reported child being pulled from a pool.
The incident took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Plymouth Street, according to scanner transmissions.
A family member was performing CPR until first responders arrived on the scene and took over care of the child from the family.
AFD stated that out of respect for the family and privacy laws, they could only state that the patient was transported to a local hospital and further care was administered.
This morning Abington Fire issued an update on the boy.
“For so many well-wishers showing concern for the 2-year-old boy that fell in the pool last week, we wanted to share the great news passed on to us from the family, that he is home, healthy and happy!”
