Norfolk District Attorney Morrissey: Two children found dead in home after well-being check

Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey has announced a disturbing and shocking find.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Friday evening, Wellesley Police received a call from a Vermont Police Department requesting a well-being check on family members believed to be in a home on Edgemoor Avenue in Wellesley. Wellesley Police responded to that home and located two children deceased inside the residence.

The incident is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office and the Wellesley Police Department.

This is an active and ongoing investigation. At this time, there is no risk to the community.
