Norfolk District Attorney: Man accused of stabbing 26-year-old girlfriend to death held without bail
Guiovani G. Garcia Chagollan was ordered held without bail Monday after his arraignment in his bed at Boston Medical Center on charges of first-degree murder, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said in a release.
Garcia Chagollan, 34, of Quincy, pleaded not guilty.
He is accused of fatally stabbing his girlfriend, 26-year-old Ahtziri Y. Cardenas-Torreros, on Saturday night at an apartment at 500 Falls Boulevard in Quincy.
Quincy Police were dispatched to the apartment at approximately 11:00 p.m. Saturday after receiving a 911 call reporting someone inside the apartment was harming themself with a knife and someone else was deceased.
Inside the apartment, responding officers found Cardenas-Torreros deceased and Garcia Chagollan seriously injured. He was transported to the hospital.
The case was continued to January 14th for probable cause hearing.
