New owners of former Fall River Mee Sum restaurant revealed

We now know the new owners of a landmark property in Fall River.
Regina and Kenny Mark served their last chow mein sandwiches at Mee Sum at the end of December as they are now on a well-deserved retirement after putting the property up for sale.
The Chinese American restaurant had been open for over 74 years serving the Southcoast and beyond with exceptional Chinese cuisine.
An LLC closed on 1819 South Main Street Monday, according to John Viveiros of Lamacchia Realty – Fall River.
The Fall River Registry of Deeds shows that the property was sold to BABA KYRILLOS SSS LLC.
The managers of BABA KYRILLOS SSS LLC are Salah Saad Kaliny of Wareham and Besho Fareez, according to state filings.
According to an article from February 2024 by East Bay RI., Fareez owns Malik’s Liquors and Balasco’s Pizzeria in Warren, RI, Minerva’s Pizza III in Fall River, Fall River House of Pizza, Whittenton House of Pizza in Taunton, Mass., Pyramids Pizza in New Bedford, Mass., and Steve’s Pizza in Portsmouth.
Viveiros stated that he represented the Marks and does not know what is in store for the property.
While all questions have not yet been answered, the rumors concerning who bought the property can now be laid to rest.
