New Jersey man all about family after hitting $1 million on Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket

A recent winner of a big State Lottery prize on a scratch ticket has his loved ones in mind.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Augusto Cabrera of Cherry Hill, NJ is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Jumbo Cash” $10 instant ticket game.

Cabrera chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on helping his family with the winnings.   

He purchased his winning ticket at T & N Food Store, 51 Branch St. in Lowell. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Jumbo Cash has one $4,000,000 and one $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
