New Fall River eatery to open at former Mark You and Quang’s Kitchen location

A new eatery is coming to Fall River where one of the more popular Chinese restaurants in the city once stood.

Mark You Restaurant was a beloved fixture at 1236 Pleasant Street for decades and was known for its Chinese American cuisine. The restaurant operated for 70 years, serving generations of families from 1937 until its closure in 2007.

The site later became home to Quang’s Kitchen, which continued to serve some of the classic dishes that made Mark You famous until its closure in November of 2018.

The Taty Restaurant is looking to make their own imprint on the Fall River scene.

When asked what type of dishes they will serve, they did not issue specifics but noted that they will serve American and Dominican cuisine.

Ownership tells Fall River Reporter that they don’t have an opening date yet, but something tells me that it is on the horizon.
