New details emerge in murder of New Bedford homeless man
New details in the murder of a New Bedford homeless man have emerged ahead of a scheduled arraignment Wednesday morning.
Stephen Oswald was found at approximately 3:40 AM early Tuesday morning outside the Seabra Supermarket on Rockdale Avenue. Oswald is described as a 58 year-old homeless man known in the community.
Court documents show that Nina Busnengo, 31, of New Bedford, was interviewed by New Bedford Police and admitted to “stomping” on Oswald’s head after Busnengo claims Oswald took her belongings without her permission. Court documents further that Busnengo was wearing Converse style sneakers when the incident occurred.
An arraignment is expected this morning in New Bedford District Court. This is a developing story.
