New Brazilian restaurant, buffet, and market expected to open in Fall River
A new spot is coming to Fall River where you can experience Brazilian fare in a variety of options.
Real Brazil Restaurant and Market, a family-owned Brazilian eatery and grocery spot at 17 Tremont Street in Taunton is expanding to 755 King Philip Street.
Owner Alan Martins is expected to go in front of the Fall River Licensing Board Tuesday for a new common victualler license.
Real Brazil offers dine-in, takeout, and delivery via platforms like DoorDash and Grubhub. The menu features a daily buffet with hearty Brazilian staples like BBQ, grilled meats, rice, beans, and sides such as potato salad, alongside appetizers like cheese and corn risoles, coxinha (chicken croquettes), and made-in-house pastel pastries stuffed with cheese, chicken, or pizza toppings. Popular items include linguica empanadas, salsicha empanada, and chicken pastel. For dessert, expect options such as passion fruit mousse, tres leches or Brazilian French bread.
The market side stocks imported goods like imported cheeses, snacks, candies, and essentials for home cooking.
It is currently unclear when the new location will open for business.
